Cristiano Ronaldo Turns Back Clock with Stunning Bicycle Kick in Al Nassr Victory

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Portugal superstar and five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, rolled back the years with a spectacular overhead bicycle kick for Saudi side Al Nassr. The 40-year-old achieved what has been described as “one of the goals of the season” in the Saudi Pro League, scoring a wonder strike that caused excitement across the football world.

Ronaldo scored the superb bicycle kick in the 96th minute on a Sunday, during the Saudi Pro League match between Al Nassr and Al-Khaleej at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh. The emphatic victory resulted in a 4-1 win for Al Nassr.

The stunning strike marked Ronaldo’s 954th career goal. The goal was notably similar to the iconic bicycle kick he scored for Real Madrid during a UEFA Champions League quarterfinal match against Juventus in 2018. Following the moment, Ronaldo himself posted on X, writing, “Best caption wins!”.

The victory in Riyadh left Ronaldo’s side four points clear at the top of the Saudi Pro League standings after nine matches. Other players contributing to the scoresheet for Al Nassr included fellow former Premier League stars Joao Felix and Sadio Mane. Despite the team’s current league success, the sources mention that Ronaldo has yet to win a title since moving to the Saudi club nearly three years ago. Al Nassr FC posted on social media following the goal, saying, “Call it skill, call it instinct… we call it Ronaldo”.
