Sri Lanka Cricket has awarded a Rs. 10 million grant to rising javelin star Rumesh Tharanga Pathirage
The initiative, led by SLC President Shammi Silva and the Executive Committee, comes following a request from Sports Minister Sunil Kumara Gamage.
The grant was officially presented at SLC headquarters as part of efforts to:
- Support athletes beyond cricket
- Boost international-level performance
- Strengthen Sri Lanka’s overall sports development
