St. Sebastian’s clinch the T20 encounter for the third consecutive year

St. Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa registered a convincing win over Prince of Wales’ College, Moratuwa to clinch the 3rd T20 Encounter played today (9th March) at De Soysa Stadium, Moratuwa.  

Having won the toss, St. Sebastian’s College skipper Ryan Dissanayake opted to bat first and posted 171 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

The opening batter Ushen Silva top scored with a knock of 64 runs off 31 balls while the skipper Dissanayake contributed with 57 runs off 46 balls. Rusandu Silva was the pick of the bowlers for Prince of Wales’ College as he grabbed 3 wickets for 23 runs.

In reply, Prince of Wales’ College had a poor outing with the bat as they were restricted for just 82/7 in the allotted 20 overs.
