Sri Lanka Cricket has officially announced the squads for Sri Lanka’s upcoming multi-format tour of the West Indies, with the national team set to depart for the Caribbean on May 26.
The tour will feature ODI, T20I, and Test series, providing Sri Lanka with another major overseas challenge against the West Indies in unfamiliar conditions.
The ODI series is scheduled to begin the tour before the action shifts to the T20I fixtures and the Test matches later in the series.
Sri Lanka’s preparations are expected to focus heavily on adapting to Caribbean pitches and weather conditions, which traditionally favour aggressive stroke play and fast bowling.
The tour also offers an important opportunity for the team management to test combinations across all three formats while continuing preparations for upcoming international assignments.
